Godstopper LPs are FINALLY up and available in the Anthems webstore (www.theundesirable.bigcartel.com).
UNDESIRABLE 002 - Nine tracks of “avant-sludge” that was named one the top 15 albums of 2012 by Metal Sucks, “What Matters” was originally available from the band in limited cassette and CD-R format and is now available for the first time on vinyl.
Godstopper is a Toronto four-piece formed by Mike Simpson (Column Of Heaven) playing an amalgamation of sludge and noise-rock bringing to mind acts like Today Is The Day, Khanate, and The Melvins without eschewing notions of melody or pop song structure. This album is heavy, creepy, and unlike just about anything else going on in DIY music today. Limited edition of 500 copies.
In the coming weeks we should have copies of the GODSTOPPER/TENDRIL split 7” in as well. We’ve just gotten in the last of the artwork (by Sam Vanagas), and test presses should be in for approval any day now. More details regarding that release as they come though.
All the info you need to order the record.
